Three generations of sustainable farming excellence
To provide the freshest, most nutritious organic vegetables while preserving the land for future generations.
At NS Farm, we believe that healthy soil produces healthy food, and healthy food creates healthy communities. Our mission extends beyond just growing vegetables – we're cultivating a sustainable future where farming practices work in harmony with nature.
We are committed to:
To be the leading example of sustainable organic farming in our region and beyond.
We envision a world where every farm operates in harmony with the environment, where consumers have access to truly fresh, nutritious food, and where farming communities thrive through sustainable practices.
Our vision includes:
A journey through three generations of farming excellence
Robert Johnson purchased 50 acres of fertile land in NS and started growing vegetables using traditional farming methods passed down from his grandfather.
Recognizing the importance of sustainable agriculture, the Johnson family transitioned to 100% organic farming practices, becoming one of the first certified organic farms in the region.
Michael Johnson joined the family business, bringing fresh ideas and modern sustainable farming techniques while maintaining the farm's commitment to organic practices.
The farm expanded to 100 acres and began specializing in carrots, potatoes, and garlic, developing expertise in growing these crops to perfection.
NS Farm received the "Sustainable Farm of the Year" award from the California Organic Farmers Association for outstanding environmental stewardship.
Sarah Johnson, representing the third generation, brings innovative technology and social media presence while maintaining the farm's core values and traditions.

The principles that guide everything we do
We never use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Our vegetables are grown using only natural, organic methods.
We focus on building healthy soil through composting, crop rotation, and cover cropping to ensure long-term fertility.
We grow crops in their natural seasons, allowing plants to develop their full flavor and nutritional potential.
We use efficient irrigation systems and water conservation techniques to minimize our environmental impact.
